I had a problem with my Liftmaster garage door not closing. I called Eyal on a Saturday for an emergency call. He had a few stops before me but He kept me updated me on time of arrival and actually showed up earlier! When He got there, He checked all the components and He found that we had a broken wall controller and bad sensors. He changed them out pretty quickly and didn't try to up charge for unnecessary items!! I would definitely recommend him and definitely call on him in the future!!

Ayal did an outstanding job in replacing a 20 year-old dual-swing gate system with a Liftmaster LA500. The wiring was complicated, with remote opening from a video intercom, and was even more challenging because the old wiring was tangled and unmarked but Ayal figured it out masterfully. Really great work!!

Dave arrived at our house and took a look at the broken garage door spring. He gave us the quote for a replacement spring just as we asked. He didn't try to upsell us. He did provide another option to install 2 springs instead of 1. He gave us the breakdown of the cost difference between the two options. We went with his recommendation based on his price. He also fixed a few small things that needed to be fixed. We'll definitely consider this company again.

If you are lucky enough to find Dave at Metro GDS, thank your lucky stars! My husband and I returned from a trip and found that FedEx had delivered some candy to me for my birthday and forced the gate open breaking it . It was already in need of power to the magnet that held the gate closed, but this was the final blow.. we were already searching for someone to repair the magnet but not having a lot of luck but Now , due to the fact that the driver forced the gate open, instead of simply dropping the package over the hedge, he destroyed the motor and the arm that controls the gate. Exhausted from the trip, and living in LA, a broken gate is not something you want to go to bed and forget about. I went to Yelp and called eight different gate repair places, most of which I was connected to a call service center. I did not want to speak to anyone or get a company that I had to go through a call center. It was Saturday, May 14 and what are the chances that I would actually speak to the owner of the company, and the actual person that would be providing the service on a Saturday afternoon. Alas Dave answered the phone and came out, that very day. In no time he had taken apart the power box, Diagnosed the problem, secured the gate enough that we felt comfortable going to sleep that night and within a couple of days he had returned, installed a new box and gave us so much information about the system that we were in awe. He was not in a rush, and explained thoroughly how the new equipment worked, registered it so we can use it from anywhere in the world and made a lot of recommendations about other security options which he doesn't sell but he's very knowledgeable about and pointed us in the direction so that we are able to pursue that as well. Did he need to do all that, of course not but that's just the way he is. You will be very fortunate indeed to have Dave work on your equipment, sell you equipment and just have him as a resource for the future. Main overhead gate broke to our condo garages on the Friday night of the 4th of July weekend. I had called 9 other shops that were listed as 24/7 that night, only one of those responded. Called Metro GDS and Dave answered at 8am on Saturday and scheduled an appointment to inspect it the gate. He called when he could arrive earlier, to see if I was available. Got a no nonsense quote for repair, then Dave went to work. He was all done with repairs that afternoon, fast, efficient and a very reasonable price. Great customer service, fast response time, quality work and fair prices, so hard to find these days, but Metro GDS nailed it! This will be the first place I call from now on!

I had an issue with my existing gate, Dave was able to fix the gate, install a great DoorBird system which I can control from my phone, and was even able to fix my gate from slamming each type by installing a hydraulic closer. Great work, great service! Would highly recommend.

Excellent end to end service. Ayal came out and helped plan the installation of 1. Gate Opener 2. Door security system ( DoorBird) 3. Two Garage doors and openers and 4. Fob for automatic opening of exit gate. I had obtained bids from 3 other companies, two quoted over the phone, third one came and took a hurried look. Installations were done on time and on budget. Ayal patiently walked me through the Apps and connected and tested everything before he left. After sales service has been exceptional as well he came personally to troubleshoot minor issues which could have been fixed thru a face time call. Highly recommend Metro GDS.

Dave was able to quickly come by and help me fix our gate. He was friendly, on time, and honest and was able to fix our problem with no problems. I have them looking into updating my fence and I look forward to working with them again.

I had all kinds of problems with both my swing gate and slider gate. Dave got back to me right away and came the next day. He was the only one willing to give a free estimate or come as far as Whittier. He spent time fixing both gates and added a safety photo eye so the gate wouldn't close on somebody or on my car. He was able to put both gates on the same remote and provide extra remotes. I could not be happier or more relieved to have these problems fixed!

Called them because the first quote I got to repair my electric iron gate was high. My iron gate was coming off the hinges. Dave came the same day I called and quoted me half the price of the 1st quote!! He said that was because he is a owner/operator, which I really liked. He did a GREAT JOB! Plus he was very professional and even gave me a new set of manual release keys and didn't even ask him!! I will definitely call him again and highly recommend him for your iron gate and electronic gate repairs!!

Dave did a great job replacing the chain on my front gate. He also saw that the wheels were shot and needed new ones so the gate motor won't be under strain. The flow of the gate is perfect now and he also did a tune up of the motor. Quote was spot on and was fair on the additional work that was needed. Will call metro for other jobs from now on.

I am so pleased by dave and his company. My situation was as follows. My electric gate motor started acting up and just quit working. So naturally as you do nowadays you go on yelp and try your best to find someone who will fix your problem. I contacted several companies to come out and look at my problem and give me estimates. Dave was the first one to hit me up and give me a price quote based on the pics I had posted. He sent his availability as well and was at the ready. I set up several other companies to come down ahead of dave and guess what? They all flaked out on me wasting my whole day and time. Naturally I was f-ing pissed so next in line was dave. I hit him back up and he said he would come next day which he did. Dave had a busy day the day he came to see me and came all the way to my city of el monte from calabasas because he had gave me his word he was coming. He came when the sun was coming down but that was no problem for dave, he showed up professional and ready to fix my problem. A true professional ! called a few places and discovered that there are many of these businesses in the La are all owned by the same company , under different alias , with various star ratings! to Discover that one they receive bad reviews they just open a new business under a new name, so every time I called a new service the operator was the same woman , very suspicious !I So I searched and gratefully found David l He came a few days later .fixed the problem then returned yesterday and installed a new garage door opener which we desperately needed ,, he went above and beyond .. Found this company on Yelp, after our gate motor bracket broke. Ayal came out the same day, within a couple of hours, fixed the bracket, our gate is now working! We are very pleased, and will definitely recommend them. Very courteous, professional, clean work. My husband is a contractor and we will definitely keep his number for future projects.

Incredible work and customer service. Dave came out and fixed my eagle gate motor in under an hour after it had been giving me problems for months. He wore a mask when speaking to me and was health conscious and responsible. A very positive experience and a great job. Absolutely recommend!!!
